My name is Gaëlle, I'm 28, I've got 2 daughters and I live in the North West of France. I teach scrapbook classes in France. I design for Bar A Scrap, a french store, for Bloomini studio (french stamps) and Studio2mers (french stamps and papers), and I work for Histoires de Pages magazine. I'm also a member of the team that represents Hero Arts in France.

My style is colorful, sweet, and textured. I love every colors, it depends on my mood, sometimes I like sweet colors, but sometimes I use bright colors. I love playing with them, and finding the most harmonious combinations.

Sketch #44:

Please welcome our Guest Designer
{Aphra Bolyer}

Hi, my name is Aphra. Now that I'm totally addicted to sketches, I was thrilled to find this blog and get to be a guest designer. What an honor!

I live in Central Louisiana where I stay at home to take care of my two boys (ages 8 and 1) while my husband of fourteen years works in the Alaskan tundra. This gives me a good bit of time to scrapbook my two boys!

I absolutely love to use October Afternoon, Tim Holtz, Pink Paislee, and Sassafras Lass. My scrapbook pages are usually pretty distressed, layered, and generally "junked up." [They've certainly come a long way since my Creative Memories days when I started scrapbooking back in 2001.]

Scrapbooking gives me a creative outlet as well as a way to savor precious memories of my children, family, and friends.

The first reveal with be posted on April 4th 2009. These new members will be part of our design team from April 1st until July 31st 2009. An Update On DT

Good Morning ladies!

Our Design Team Call has ended as of last night at Midnight.
I would like to take this opportunity to say " THANK YOU " to all of you who submitted your application and your interest in Creative Scrappers.

We received over 75 applications and all of you have AMAZING talent! We did visit ALL of your galleries, and blogs and would love to have all of you on the team!!!

Deb Harter and I have chosen a total of 18 Designers (11 NEW designer,6 Returning designers and myself) A few of the applicants who did not get chosen for the dt will be asked to be guest designers for us. All DT members chosen have received an email so check your inbox! Those chosen as Guest Designers will be contacted by Wednesday Mar 18th.

Hello! My name is Virginia Wong. I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Creative Scrappers. Originally from Saskatchewan , I am proud to call Calgary my home. I am a full-time Mom and a part-time Information Technology consultant. Scrapbooking is my relaxation and passion - I need to scrapbook every day, be it reading a scrapbook magazine or creating a layout. Since I started scrapbooking, I notice the mundane and the spectacular and record my family`s lives - and that makes me happy!

I love using and mixing vibrant, bold colours and patterns along with all those irresistible embellishments. My layouts often capture the escapades of my two energetic and happy-go-lucky girls, Madison and Danielle. My second passion is photography and I continue to work on fine tuning my skills!

I adore sketches - they are my jumping off point for many of my layouts! And the sketches at Creative Scrappers are so adaptable! Thanks so much for having me at Creative Scrappers!

We have less than a few days left for your submissions ladies!
Our Design Team Call is fast approaching to the last hours
so make sure you get your applications in!

Design Team Call for Creative Scrappers
We are looking for a total of 14 Designers!

Submissions will be taken until March 15 2009 ( MIDNIGHT est)
The Names of our New Designers will be posted on our blog Wednesday March 18th, 2009
Our first reveal on April 5th 2009.

Please include in your application:

link to your blog or online gallery
Forum User Name for Creative Scrappers

Please submit:
3 layouts ( not new, just your fav that describe Your Style)

Please also send a paragraph of what you like about Creative Scrappers!!!

The Design Team will be required to:
*Complete atleast 2-3 layouts per month with sketches provided from our Sketch Designers.
*Participation in our forum will be required and hosting 1 DT Challenge during your term is requested.
*Exclusive to Creative Scrappers (You are asked to design for our Sketch Blog Only, no other sketch blog is permitted)

We want each member to be proud to be a DT Member for Creative Scrappers

Hi everyone, my name is Melissa Wright and I live in Saint John, NB with my wonderful husband of 3 years and our 2 year old bichon frise, Huggie.

I started scrapbooking 2 years ago and have fallen in love with this hobby very quickly! I love bling on LOs and usually use browns and lots of inking in my work. I also love to make cards!
When I'm not scrapping, you can find me in the dance studio dancing my heart out!

I am being published for the first time in the May/June issue of Simple scrapbooks, which is also their last issue! I am going to miss this magazine very much as it is one of my favorites!

Hi! My name is Kim and I am so thrilled to be the March Guest Designer here at Creative Scrappers! I am a homeschool mom – married to the love of my life for over 22 years. We have 7 kids with 4 left at home and our first grandchild on the way! You can imagine that I never run out of pictures! I have been scrapping for over 8 years, but didn’t really find my groove till about 2 years ago. That is when I discovered the wonderful community of scrappers online and all the wonderful places to get inspiration! I can honestly tell you that this craft is both my therapy and my obsession all at the same time. One of the things I love about scrapping is the instant connection that forms with other scrapbookers. It is wonderful to meet new friends and then consider them family in just a short time! I love to start a project with the help of a sketch and I am excited to get to work with the March sketch. Thanks for having me!
