Sketch #123

Good Morning Creative Scrappers!

Today, unfortunately is the last reveal for some of our designers in team O. We say goodbye and a HUGE thank you to Annelie, Avina, Edith, Jenn, July, Kaori, Karryn, and Myia.
We've certainly enjoyed your reveals ladies and the talent you shared with us. A round of applause to you as well ladies! Thank you!

I would also like to say THANK YOU to our Sketch Designers - Nicole and July who will be leaving us this week... You've been a HUGE part of Creative Scrappers and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hello everyone! My name is Marites Solivet, a Filipina. My friends call me Ytet, married to a wonderful and very supportive husband, Alain and blessed with three boys. An entrepreneur for more than 15 years, owns a craft store and framing shop.

I've been scrapbooking for three years now and still enjoying the creative process of documenting my family's precious moments. I love the beauty of incorporating arts and creativity. I love hand-cutting the designs of patterned papers, layering, texturizing, paper tearing, combining new techniques and texture on my layouts and hopefully to continue evolving through learning and sharing.

Sketch #122

Good Morning Creative Scrappers,

Today, unfortunately is the last reveal for some of our designers. We say thank you and goodbye to Tanya, Yuka, Jennifer, Julia, Mija, Susan and Suzanne. We've had an amazing showcase of layouts with these designers and sadly we have to say goodbye. Thank you ladies for your amazing work and dedication to CS! I think they need all a big round of APPLAUSE!!!

Hello! My name is Carla Tarabus and I live in the Chicago Suburbs. I’ve been married for 12 years and I have two beautiful children. My daughter, Kendall, is 7 and my son, Aydan, is 5.

I work full time as a Radiology Clinical Instructor and Radiographer at a large University Chicago Hospital. I’ve been working there for 19 years. As much as I love my career, it can take a toll on me physically and mentally. Scrapbooking is my outlet therapy and is definitely a part of my daily life whether it’s browsing websites/blogs, shopping, chatting with my crafty friends, or actually scrapping. Even though I’m a busy, working mom, I do make time to pursue my hobby.

I stated scrapbooking in 2003 after the birth of my daughter. I think my look is clean lined with bright colors but I do admire all the artsy styles as well. I’ve made some wonderful lifetime friends through this craft and it has been definitely one of the biggest perks.

I’ve been published in Simply Handmade Magazine and was a Guest Designer on the Making Memories Blog. But my proudest moment was when Making Memories asked me to be a participant in their Slice infomercial last year in Southern California. That was quite an amazing experience!

Good Morning Creative Scrappers!

I'd like to take this opportunity this morning to say THANK YOU to all of you who submitted for our Design Team Call. I am overwhelmed by your support and mostly amazed at your talent. I've received quite a few submissions and I want you to know that I've visited all your blogs, and galleries. You should all be very proud of your work!! I will be contacting those who have been selected in the next few days. I have it narrowed down to 38/201... but i can only take so many ... i wish all of you could be CS designers. So check your emails ;-) If you haven't been selected as a designer ... you might be selected as one of our featured designers for a future reveal. Please don't give up and keep trying! Thank you !!!!

Hi! I'm Genevieve Allen from Canada.
I am a Married, a mother of 2 big kids and grand-mother to 3 little princesses. My family is a source of some great inspiration.

It’s been Scrapbooking for 5 years and everything is an excuse to be creative and I also have a passion for photography. My scrapbook style ranges from Clean & Simple to the Shabby, I like evolving into many styles. Card making, pages or mini-albums allow me to grow while practicing new techniques.

Scrapbooking is more than a hobby to me, it’s a treasure. Beautiful friendships virtual or in real life, a heritage for the next generation and pleasure everyday!!!
