Good Afternoon Creative Scrappers!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to take TONS of photos for a Creative Scrappers Sketch!

Hi Everyone! I'm Mara and I'm really excited to be guest designing at Creative Scrappers. I am always inspired by the sketches and layouts here. I live in Southern California with my home brewing husband, my two fabulous kids and our escape artist hamster.

I am a molecular biologist by day and a paper crafter and wannabe baker by night. I love making layouts, cards, altered items, home decor, cupcakes, cookies, and cheesecakes. I am a marathon runner and we love to be active as a family. Camping, hiking, and geocaching are favorite past times.

Good Morning Creative Scrappers!

How many more sleeps until Santa Arrives? ... just a few more sleeps!! Would you believe me if i told you I haven't started my Christmas Shopping yet? Well I haven't! Hopefully by Thursday I'll have everything done! I would like to take this opportunity to WISH All of you a wonderful Holiday Season.

We have a great reveal today with our guest Pia Åstrand from Sweden.

Hello!
My name is Pia Åstrand and I live in Halmstad, Sweden. I´m a mother of two rascals (5 and 8) and have a hubby that I love. He was the one dragging me into photographing and now he supports me in every way in my scrapbooking too.
I´m so honoured to be guest designing here at Creative Scrappers. The design team is awesome and the sketch designers are really talented!
I´ve been scrapbooking since April 2007 and the main reason why I started was that there opened a LSS only 10 minutes from where I live, and geeesh.... I have never looked back! I love this hobby where I can combine my interest in photographing and crafting. I love to doodle and that technique is in almost every project I make. I love pens of all kind and couldn´t scrap without them.

My favorite papers are Basic Grey!! I´ve been true to them since day one!
I enjoyed working with sketch #135 and made this Christmas layout for you!

New Sketch Designers

Good Morning Creative Scrappers!

I can only imagine how busy you are this time of year! Creating projects, finishing albums, taking photos everything can be overwhelming at times... so don't forget to take a minute or two for yourself. There is nothing better than relaxing with a hot cup of Candy Cane Hot Chocolate, a fresh stack of papers and a CS Sketch!

We have another super duper reveal for you today ... it's a sketch by Aphra and a guest designer is from South Africa, please welcome Sophia Allison! Let's get this reveal going shall we?

Hi, I’m Sophia Allison and live in Durban, South Africa a little city along the coastline. I have reached that age, where they say life begins at 40, which I think is really true. Married to my loving and supportive husband Murray for 9 years. We have 2 beautiful girls Amy (6 years) and Chloe (2 years), they are my inspiration to scrapbook.

I had always been a keen card-maker, until my sister-in-law introduced me to the world of Scrapbooking in October 2001. I went for my first class at a local craft shop in November and you could say I had been bitten by the Scrappin Bug and am now hooked! As well as it being a hobby that I can actually loose myself in!

My style….. well I don’t know that I have one, as my layouts range from simple to shabby to heritage and I am not afraid of colour or stretching my comfort zone. I try to keep as much focus on the photo`s - sometimes my style changes with the wind but I guess that is creativity for you.

Thanks for having me as a Guest Designer, I enjoyed using the sketch.
