Hello Creative Scrappers!

We have SKETCH 180 today, and the last reveal for some of our designers. My name is Christin Grønslett and I go by the nick Umenorskan, which derives from the fact that I am Norwegian living in Umeå (Northern Sweden) Here I live with husband and two kids (4 and 2)

I started scrapbooking in 2003 after spending 6 month in the US, but I was more a shopper than a scrapper for years!! Now I try to find the time to sit down and scrap a little every day after the kids are asleep. So instead of sitting on the couch watching TV, you will find me at the scrap table along with my beloved computer. I enjoy the inspiration from other scrappers via chat, forums, Pinterest and google to keep me going. I am a challenge junkie, you won't find any layouts on my blog that I haven't created for a challenge or are DT assignments. I just need something to spur me. That is also why I love crops. Almost every Thursday evening you will find me at my LSS and at least once a month at crops.

I mostly make layouts because I don't have friends or family that appreciates a card and I will not sit and work with projects for them to be thrown away. The same things go for altered things, they will be crushed by my two energetic kids, so that leaves me with layouts and the kids love to sit down with their album and look at the pictures. I love colors, gesso, chipboards and I go nowhere without my black pen.

Good Morning Creative Scrappers!

Happy Sunday Morning to you! It's a fabulous day to get out those papers and create!

My Name is Tracee and I live in Bristol UK with my DH my 2 youngest children & our very spoiled Doodle doggies. I am also a Grand mum to a beautiful 7 year old little girl called Star.I have always crafted in one form or another since I was a small child from stuffed toys to knitted scarves. I was introduced to scrapping in 2004 & I have never looked back with each layout bringing more love for this hobby along with a whole group of friends who share the same love.

My family & dogs are the main focus of my work, I just love how you can turn a memory, that might otherwise be forgotten in time, into something very special indeed. I love chocolate and all things sweet, I don’t drink alcohol but my poison is lots of hot sweet tea!

Really I'm quite a sensitive soul with a small amount of crazy thrown in, right now I am loving my scrappy journey and all the fun friendship and memories it brings everyday. With an ever changing world scrapping remains my Safe Haven & most days you will find me at some point in my craft room.

Hello Creative Scrappers!

It's a beautiful Sunday here in New Brunswick Canada! A great day to grab a new pile of scrapbook papers, embellies and our CS sketch this week! Yup it's a day for Scrapbooking ;-)

Hi.. my name is Kathy Skou and I live in Massachusetts with my husband Ed, our 13 year old daughter Caroline and our two crazy kitties Daisy and Rosie.

I’ve always been crafty, but I didn’t start scrapbooking until 2003 when I left Corporate America to stay home. My friend was convinced scrapbooking was for me and dragged me to a home scrapbooking party… She was so right!

If I had to categorize my style I’d say it’s clean and playful. I love adding a little humor to my layouts. My must haves (right now, it changes) are my sewing machine and foam tape. I love stitching, and usually hand or machine stitch on my projects. I also love adding dimension… there are no flat pages in my books! Sketches are another staple of mine… I love how you can start with the basic framework and mold it to make it your own.

When I’m not scrapping, I’m usually driving my daughter somewhere! I also do a lot of volunteer work in town, and teach a few layout classes. You can check out more of my work on my blog: http://kathyskou.blogspot.com.

DT Call Update!

Hello Everyone!

Happy Friday ;-)

I just wanted to post an update in regards to the current DT call. All Applications have been reviewed, I've visited blogs, galleries, and I've seen some amazing work!!! Obviously you know I cannot accept everyone that applies, but I try my best to rotate our design team members. Some stay a little longer than others for certain reasons such as country of residence, style of scrapbooking etc...

This term i have selected Ana Castro, Marielle LeBlanc, Natasha Naranjo Aguirre, and Felicitas Klink as returning designers. That means 16 New members will be joining us! I have sent out emails this morning to everyone, and patiently waiting for replies. Once the 16 have confirmed their positions -- I will make the announcement on the blog. I was hoping for today, but I couldn't confirmed members from all the amazing selections i had! Would you believe over 100 applications were sent in... THANK YOU ALL for your continued SUPPORT in Creative Scrappers!

Good Morning Creative Scrappers!

It's a holiday weekend here in Canada! Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian Scrappers ;-)

My Name is Fiona Kenward however I go by the nickname Fi, I live in Australia half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I live with my husband and our two teens.

I started scrapbooking in 2002, before that if I wasn’t quilting I would be painting. I can’t remember a time when I was creating in some form. I must admit I have only really started dabbling in Sketches as I found they can be a little restrictive for my style, but I have decided to challenge myself and incorporate my style into the sketch. I am a candid photographer, which basically means I have no photography skills at all. I try and make my photos more exciting to look at through my scrapbooking style. If that make sense.
