Please welcome our design team members ---
Hello everyone, My name is Amelia Khalik from Malaysia. I’m a wife to a supportive husband and mother of two adorable kids. They have been my constant inspiration. I started scrap booking about 3 ½ years ago and never look back ever since. I was a bored mom without a hobby and one day while browsing decided that I should try my hands at card making. I took my first lesson at a local scrap book store and start buying my basic tools.
My first few layouts were actually done during a crop party at lss. It was so basic with no layering or technique whatsoever. Every time I look back at those pieces it reminds me of how far I’ve come and how much I’ve learn along the way. Scrapping to me is a no hard rules, no perfection and no right or wrong. It’s more of a hunch and instinct of what looks good on my page at that moment. Most of the time I don’t plan my page in advance, I am a very impromptu person, even on a last minute I could still add or remove items on my page! Nothing fix and certain.
My style is always evolving and i love to try everything there is out there. I am drawn to mixed media and altered project but layout has always been my number one favorite!
I am honored and happy to be given this opportunity to be with Creative Scrappers.

Hi! I'm Ana Castro from Brazil. I live in a city localized in an Island in the south of Brazil, called Florianópolis. I'm clinical engineer and I have a company that manages medical equipment for hospitals. I am married to my husband Rafael and am mom to my 5 year old son Daniel, who is the subject of most of my scrapbook pages!
I began scrapping in January 2009, mostly creating 12x12 layouts and some altered items. I’ve started by accident while looking for a gift for my niece. It was love at first sight, and I've couldn't stop! At beginning I used spent hours looking at magazines and blogs, just watching and learning every details from some page. The idea to preserve memories are the most important thing of scrapbooking to me.
Nowadays, the scrap occupies a very special place in my life and it brought more creativity to my daily routine. I feel that my vision of the world took another look and new colors. I love (sometimes obsessively!!) new collections and new materials. My favorite techniques are distressing, stitching and adding dimension to my pages. I'm not sure how to define my style because I like to try new things every time. I think my style is clean and whimsical. Boy’s pages are my passion because I have a cute (and funny) model at home and a lot of pictures to use, after all, my pages are dedicated to my son and my family. I think my pages are funny and colorful. I find inspiration in my life and outdoor.

Hey everyone! My name is Brenna, I'm 25 and live in a small farming town in Ontario and commute to our nation's capital for work. I am an aspiring police officer with a passion for arts and crafts! I fell in love with scrapping 8 yrs ago when I moved off to college and wanted to make a special personalized gift for my BFF who I was moving away from. I haven't been able to stop since and continue to use scrapbooking as a means to capture stories, thoughts and feelings about my experiences and the people I love.
When I'm not scrapbooking I am playing organized sports (most recently hockey), volunteering with the Humane Society (animals are my passion), catching up on classic films, listening to classic rock music (attempting to see most of the legends in concert before they start to kick the bucket :) and spending time with my amazing boyfriend of nine years, Richard. I like to share that I've gone skydiving, travelled to Australia and chauffeured a manager of the Rolling Stones around for a day while they were shooting a music video in Ottawa (Random, but true!)
I hope I can inspire you with my love and passion for this awesome craft!

Hello, I am Dani de Sa, I am Brazilian, married and mother of two beautiful children who are my greatest source of inspiration.
Since I was a teenager had daily and paper cuting, but scrapbooking came into my life even in 2006, by chance.
I was searching the internet for something to make the birthday invitations the first year of my 2nd daughter, and I fell in love. At first, I learned a lot on the internet, where I also met many dear friends. Scrap to me is fun, memory and friendship.
Paper is my favorite scrapping supply. I always enjoyed photography, and looking through the scrapbooking record the moments of everyday life of my family, our history.I love using sketches and I'm very happy with the opportunity to be part of the Creative Scrappers DT.

Hi everyone!
My Name is Felicitas Klink. I'm 31 years old and live in Stuttgart, South Germany with my lovely husband Steffen and our two "little ones"…our bunnies.
I've been a paper crafter for over 2,5 years but I've always been creative since I was a little girl.
I write weekly DIY-Tutorials for ongoing projects and I also started designing free digital stamps. My art is very detail oriented. I have a passion for mixing different colors, styles and supplies in my projects. By combining funky mixed media items, I create beautifully layered scrapbook layouts, cards and mixed media art projects.

Fiona Kenward
My Name is Fiona Kenward however I go by the nickname Fi, I live in Australia half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I live with my husband and our two teens.
I started scrapbooking in 2002, before that if I wasn’t quilting I would be painting. I can’t remember a time when I was creating in some form.
I must admit I have only really started dabbling in Sketches as I found they can be a little restrictive for my style, but I have decided to challenge myself and incorporate my style into the sketch. I am a candid photographer, which basically means I have no photography skills at all. I try and make my photos more exciting to look at through my scrapbooking style.

Hilde Aaslund

My name is Hilde Aaslund and I am a sketch addict! I live in Norway with my hubby, two boys 9 &12, FIL and a number of pets: dog, cat and budgies. I work full time as an engineer at construction sites and spend my leisure time driving kids to activities, running this place called home and scrap.
I started my paper craft career as a card maker in 2005, but transformed to a layout scrapper a year later. My main scrap subjects are - quite naturally- my family, but I also scrap about subjects found in our everyday life – the pets, our friends, funny signs and anything that makes my day special.
As life is busy, I hardly have time to sit down and scrap for hours, and this is reflected in my scrap style: often simple with lots of white space or linear. But on occasions I get carried away and keep adding details as if I were paid by the number. Currently, I am on the DT for one of the US’ largest kit clubs, I have been published several times and I still enjoy participating in challenges on challenge blogs!
I am, as I said, a sketch addict, and I am thrilled beyond words to be a part of the Creative Scrappers DT!

Janna Werner
I was born 1978 in Germany and still live in the northern part of it, together with my husband and our dog Sindri.
I started crafting in April 2010, cardmaking had been my favourite subject at that time but soon scrapbooking captured my heart. So did mixed media in 2011 when I got to know some very inspiring mixed media artists and was totally amazed by their work.

Hi. My name is Marianne, and I live up in Northern Norway together with my boyfriend and our two children. I started scrapbooking after giving birth to our firstborn five years ago, and it has been an obsession of mine ever since. It feels like Christmas every time I get my hands on new papers, and I guess that is why I have so much of it.. I am a totally paper addict!!
I do not consider myself having a particularly style, as it changes as often as the weather up here. My favorite layouts are the ones telling a story, and I try to have some text on all my layouts. I feel very lucky being on the design team to a local Paper Company.
Being a sketch lover, I feel no less lucky being chosen to be on the fabulous team here at CS. I only hope I can live up to the rest of the ladies here, and that some of you can get inspired by me…

My name is Marie, but in the Scrap World I´m known as Mison. I am 37 years old, and live with my partner and my two children (7 and 3) in a small village called Nordmaling in the North of Sweden. I work as a Intensive Care Nurse (with Cardiology as specialty). My main interest is Scrapbooking.
Since my early teens I´ve been creating cards (drawing, painting etc). In 2004 when my son was born I found a lot of beautiful colored papers and embellishments in a craft shop, bought some and that was the beginning of it all… Now I spend as much time as possible at the scrap table, and it has developed to be my biggest hobby, as well as a big part of my life.
For me scrapbooking is a way of contemplation. As I have a job that can be rather stressful, and two intense children, scrapbooking gives me time to relax and run away from the “real world” for a while. It gives me a chance to use my creative nerve, and focus on my needs for a while.
My “style” is colourful and playful. I often use a lot of papers and embellishments. I try to have the photo in focus, and to reflect the feeling of the photo in the layout. I also makes cards and altered projects. If I had to call my style something - then I might call it Playful Punk Chic? (if i do a romantic layout, I can´t help giving it a playful twist…)
Since I LOVE sketches I can´t wait to begin my journey with Creative Scrappers!!
*****Marie-Anne Kimpton
My name is Marie-Anne Kimpton and I live in Quebec city, a French-speaking town of Canada, with my husband Alexandre and our three children – Jules (7), Paul (5) and Béatrice (almost 2).
I began scrapping 5 years ago. In my scrap, I love using contrasting colors, polka dot paper and flowers. But above all, I prefer to use recycled materials or handmade ornaments, It gives originality to my layouts and it goes with my green values.
I am currently part of two design teams (for an online store and a color combo blog challenge). But my biggest realization has been to be part of the editorial and design team of a magazine. When I'm not scrap for my dt projects, I do challenges... Because I love doing challenges !!! That's how I discovered the wonderful blog of CS. I am super excited and honored to be a designer for Creative Scrappers, and I hope that my work will provide inspiration for everyone !

Hi there ...... My name is Mariska, 37 years old and married to a great German guy called Jürgen. Together we have one son, called Fabian and he is almost 6 years. We have an extra family member in our little rabbit Hobsie. He is already an oldie.. but soo cute.
I work three days a week at a real nice company as sales assistant. Love to do that and be in the working space every now and then.
Scrapbooking is something I started doing just before Fabian is born. A friend of mine took me to a workshop in a little shop here in the Netherlands and I was hooked right away. It felt like everything I liked came together ! My friend never got hooked.. but I did.... and infected some other people around me too ! I am a real layout scrapper. Somehow when I start a mini album I loose my interest half way. Too bad because I really love it when I see it from others.
I am really happy to be part of this team for this term and will give my best to make nice layouts !!

Myriam Mantion-Ginel
I am MyriamMG, I live in the North-East of France. I am 45 years old, I am married, have 3 children and 2 cats. I fell in the magical world of scrapbooking more than 7 years ago and for 5 years I am responsible-assistant in a crafts store where I am in charge of the scrap area. You understand : in the heart of the temptation all day long, my small brain dreams up and in the evening, I restitute all this in my LOs !!!
I am a sort of meddler in scrapbooking : I like testing different techniques and styles : from the shabby to the free, which often gives a colored shabby or a free with lace !!! Generally, as soon as I have the click between THE photo and THE paper : the inspiration comes then in a evident way. I practice challenges and sketches : I find it rewarding.

Hi! My name is Natasha and I'm the mother of two wonderful children and the wife of an amazing and supportive man. I am a floral designer by day and a scrapaholic by night!
I first discovered my love for scrapbooking in 2004 but was unable to scrap because I was a single mother and had no spare time for myself or for hobbies. For years I was unable to scrapbook, but my passion for it never faded. I got married in 2010 and my husband inspired and encouraged me to start creating again. If it weren't for him, I would have never been able to begin doing what I love.
As for my scrapping style... well, I don't know what my style is exactly LOL. I just create using products I love. I love to incorporate different techniques on my layouts and use a variety of different elements.
Every day I am inspired by the amazing work and talent of others, and I hope to be able to inspire others with my work as well. I am very excited to be able to share my work with you all!

My name is Ulrika Blomfelt and I live in Sweden, close to Swedens capital Stockholm. I live here with my husband Anders, my son Viggo and our dog Molle, which is the breed Shetland Sheepdog.
I have always enjoyed creating with my hands and have tried many different things like patchwork sewing, embroidery and picture painting. I got my first camera when I was nine.
Since then I´ve been taking a lot of pictures but I´m still an amateur. My goal is to learn to be a better photographer.
In 2006 my mother celebrated a special birthday and I wanted to create a memory album for her. This was the fist time I came in contact with Scrapbooking and fell head over heels in love with it.
I can combine taking pictures and create with my hands while saving memories for the future. Can you have a more perfect hobby?
Through this hobby I have met many new friends and a whole new world has opened up for me. I have wonderful design team assignments that challenge my creative side and allows me to develop creatively.
My scrap style is very diverse and I like to try different and new techniques all the time. I create layouts, cards and altered projects so I´m quite versatile in my Scrapbooking.
I really looking forward to be part of Creative Scrappers lovely and talented team and be able to create after the beautiful sketches.
*****Welcome ladies!
