Love You Beautiful Bunny | by Jinny Newlin

Morning, y'all!  It's Jinny here today with my take on our March Sketch #304.  I tapped into my February "Brinley" Citrus Twist Kit to bring this one to life.
I started this page with a few watercolor puddles on the 12" x 12" watercolor base page.  I then speckled it with those same shades of blue, aqua, and pink watercolors.  Once it was dry, I stamped the flowers, respectively, in Pistachio Pudding, Brocade Blue, and Jet Black inks and used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink, along with a lattice template, for a bit of stenciling.  My stack of prints was then positioned in the layers seen above, before splattering everything with Pure Black and Titanium White acrylic paints and anchoring a number of them with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching.  The photos were then matted with white cardstock and adhered in a grid design with the bottom left corner left open for the butterfly cut-apart, which was backed with both a blue, polka dot tag, laced with white string, tied in a bow, and blue, gingham frame and topped with a trio of cut-apart and chipboard phrases, as well as a pink button, laced with white string.
The "Love You Beautiful BUNNY" title was created from Wild, foam, phrase Thickers; a puffy, "Beautiful" sticker; and With All My Heart: Fresh Mint ABC Stickers from Pretty Little Studio.
A couple of chipboard butterflies, one of which was backed with a tangle of gold thread and popped up with foam tape, drive home that springtime theme.
The top of the design boasts a cluster of goodies, including a wax envelope, which I cut down to size with pinking shears and stuffed with a cut-apart, yellow tag, laced with white string; gold, chipboard frame, which was filled in with another Wild, foam Thicker; and a pink label, secured with a pink, heart, paper clip and topped with "SHE SMILED" cut-apart and "sweet treats", sticker phrases.
A number of stamped, in Jet Black ink, phrases, along with a touch of Easter 2016 journaling...
brings us full circle back to a bunny ribbon cut-apart, which was popped up with foam tape and takes center stage to complete the look.
Here's your March Sketch #304 just to remind y'all what you're striving for.
